In an industry tainted by mass-consumption, Bovan celebrates the uniquely handmade through his contrasting consolidation of colour, texture and pattern; his visually intriguing knit sculptures are adorned in rich historical and contemporary contexts. My aim was to explore the value of recycled fabrics as a means of averting mass-consumption, whilst staying true to Bovan's ideology. Self-recorded binaural audio and footage creates an almost tactile presentation for his new collection.
